| Jason Sutter's White Cortex kit for Cher's 2019 Here We Go Again Tour. Jason says:
"Here is the new Drum Set I'm using for this years tour with Cher! It's a Ludwig Octa Plus and although it's been the holy grail for myself and others who grew up with the Ludwig '80 catalog, I never ever thought I would have the opportunity to use one let alone own one! Hal Blaine used one of these kits on her early records... It's perfect for this gig and sounds fantastic especially in the "big" rooms!!! Thanks to Uli from Ludwig for making it just right! Thanks to Ludwig drums and all the great players who play them for the inspiration!" Photos: Jason Sutter | |

| Randy Sanchez calls his kit "The Big Red Machine" a Ludwig Ruby Vistalite concert tom octaplus configuration in melodic sizes 6"-16". Two floor toms 16" and there is even a 18" concert floor that sounds like thunder, and lastly, the kick, a 14x24" has 4 spurs that makes it unique."

| David Brandt describes his '70s Gretsch project kit as "Sort of monster kit and Chico hybrid. Sounds awesome with skins. Not dead - more like mellow timbales and surdo."
